I was told (by many) that I do not post enough and I have to admit I am guilty as charged! I love posting pictures and if I do not have any pictures… I never post. I was very excited to post pictures of Disney on Ice that we attended last night with Sam’s mom, Molly and Megan. But the security guy took my camera! I WAS NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! But we will not get started on that! So since I can’t share that fun event with you… I will talk about US!
As most of you know we spent this past spring on an European Cruise. People have asked over and over to see my pictures and I have not finished my scrape books. So I found some fun things to share about our trip. I cried the whole flight over to Europe. Yup that is right - sorry no picture to prove it! I haven't told to many people that story. I know what you are thinking. I was so sad to leave the states and I was going to miss all of you so much! Well... sorry... I was actually so sick on the plane I thought I was going to die. But once that plane got on the ground!... We had the best trip ever!!!!!
so ... I will start with Venice, Italy
When you ask the "locals" where to eat they say " skip those two and the third on is good! Skip the next three and the next two are safe." So if you are counting like they count, you hope, you end up at a safe restaurant. You know it must be pretty bad food if the locals are telling you stories of people that get sent to the hospitals. So we must have counted right on this on. We eat pizza along the water on a beautiful afternoon and it was very YUMMY... even though we had no clue what our pizza was going to have on it. We just pointed to the menu and shook our heads yes.
We had one night in Venice before we got on the boat. This was our very LITTLE hotel room that had a bigger bathroom then bedroom. With all of our luggage we couldn't even move in our room. This hotel was very easy to get to... we only had to cross over two bridges. I heard lots of stories about having to lug your luggage all over Venice to find your hotel. Up and Down all the little walk ways! Well we had a wonderful travel agent who knew what he was doing. But we did get a good laugh at lots of other tourist that were not so lucky!!!!
Yes..Yes.. our hotel had two toilets and I was to chicken to try the toilet out that spray's water at bottom side!! I will not go into details on why!!!
Touring Venice was just as Beautiful as they say it is...and as the pictures show!
The next day we loaded back up our luggage and headed to our boat.... OR SO WE THOUGHT! We had this nice group that was also from our hotel heading towards the boat. So we thought they knew what they were doing and that we would just follow them!!!! Well we got a tour of INLAND Italy! The bus we got on took us about 45 minutes one way in the opposite direction! A good 1hr and 1/2 later we ended back at the very same place we started at... and that was not the boat!!! So we then took it by foot! Let's just say I AM NOT A LIGHT PACKER! and I was wishing for once... on that long walk.... that I was!

The next day we loaded back up our luggage and headed to our boat.... OR SO WE THOUGHT! We had this nice group that was also from our hotel heading towards the boat. But then my kind husband informed me that it was just a crayfish and that they live all over OHIO. So we didn’t have a special finding after all!

We made it safely back to the FREEZING cold state of OHIO at 5:00am on Monday morning! ... I want to go back to WARM Florida... Where we had high speed internet, a dishwasher, cute kids to take pictures of and WARM weather! I think the kids were just as sad as I was to come home!!! 
Last night we put the kids to bed early after Jill let them paint pictures. Amy and I went to the airport to pick up Sam. Got back to Jill's around 2 am! Sam and I spent day at St. Augustine for a little date while the kids went swimming and took naps.
