Christmas Day...

Nana came with us to church on Sunday morning.  Then we went to G-pa and G-ma Hartzlers for Christmas Lunch, a fun game of white elephant and skits by each family.  Kora Lily loves holding baby Grady.  She thinks it is her baby.

We had a great time at G-pa Hartzler.  We picked Nana up in the evening and went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Clark.  It was a great day and we enjoying celebrating Christ birth and being with family all day!

We had a Merry Christmas....

We started our Christmas by having Nana over to our house on Christmas Eve.  Kora opened one gift and was done.  She didn't understand that all the gifts were for her.

 The night was over and Sam went out to start Nana's car and we found another present for Kora Lily.  She was so excited... she could hardly let Sam put it together.  

 She sat inside the car while Daddy worked his magic.

Baby Bean - Update

Hello Blog Followers...
I know I do not update you all on Baby Bean very much.  It is very hard to put in words and to let you all know exactly what is going on.  We had another appointment on Monday... Baby Bean's heart is still beating.  We have appointment every two weeks to make sure the baby is still alive.  I felt the baby move for the first time about two weeks ago... so this has helped me to daily know the baby is still living.  It is truly amazing to see how many problems the baby has and to think that it is still alive.  The Doctors support our decisions to let God control the outcome of our baby's life and they are still treating it like a regular pregnancy until the baby decides to come out.  We appreciate your prayers and support.  We PRAISE God for His love, peace & mercy as we live each day.

Baby Bean Update

Today's appointment was another Ultra Sound to confirm Baby Beans problems. My mom and my sister in law came with me my appointment.  Sadly most of the issues were still there and very serious.  They also picked up some other things that were not noticed before that goes along with the baby's complex.  Same Diagnoses with the result that the baby does not have a survival change.  We appreciate your prayers as we learn to be patient and Trust in God's plan for the babies future. 

Kora Lily - 21 months

Kora Lily is growing up to FAST!  She loves to read books, color with "paper", use stickers, play mommy and giggle.  Her favorite things to say is "My Chair" and "Where'd daddy go?"  She has started to come up and just start talking like she is telling you something very important.... when she is done she says... "K"...and walks away as if you understood every word she just said.

She will usually sit in this little opening that she creates and read books for a 1/2 hour straight.  

Willow & Scarlett....

Willow & Scarlett were here from Florida for about 2 weeks!  We had a great time seeing them at family gatherings and spending time with them.

Tagen & Scarlett's Birthday Party - 11-24-10

 We put on our Cowboy gear and headed to the School house for Tagen & Scarlett's Birthday Party.  Even though we didn't stay long... since I wasn't feeling good ~ The party was great!  We had loaded Haystacks, with yummy cake and ice-cream.  

Amy's Surprise Sprinkle - 11-23-10

My sister Jill was home from Florida and wanted to have a Surprise Sprinkle for my sister Amy.... since she is on kids # 7 - due at the end of December.

We told Amy we were having a girls night out... 

(which we offend do when Jill is home from FL.)

Amy was totally surprised!  

 Friends and family that came....

 We sprinkled her with gifts of SEVEN.

ie. 7 Diapers, 7 Dollars, 7 Blankets.... and so on..

Ingold Christmas - 11-19-10

We had our First Christmas back in November with the Ingold Family.  We meet in Mansfield area at a hotel that had a little water play park inside.  We had a great time spending the night with everyone!

Update...

I have been down for a week with a horrible cold.  But, even though I was sick... it was great medicine for my brain.  Because I was to tired and sick to think or worry about anything :o)..  Our appointment last Wednesday went fine.  Babies heart beat was around 140.  Next Wednesday we go back to meet with the specialist again and get an update on all of the baby bean's issues. 

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving....

even though we were sick.... we are thankful for times of sickness...

it makes us appreciate being healthy!!  

Baby Bean

Hello Blog friend!  We are amazed and thankful for all of you that are interested about our baby.  We have decided to update our Gardner Blog with the baby news.  This way it will make it easy for everyone to follow along without requiring a user name and password.  We want to thank everyone for the words of encouragement and prayers on our behalf.  It is humbling to ask for prayers and we are thankful for each one.  We have an appointment with the Doctor every two weeks and we will update after the appointment.  

NEW HOUSE WEEK # 1

So, we had one full week of absolutely beautiful weather.  We had plenty of hard workers and the outcome was far greater than we could have ever imagined.  We now have a basement structure that is nearly ready for beams and framing.  We have a septic field that is truly a blessing.  The weather allowed us to get the septic field in so we do not have to wait until spring.  Now we have our foundation and lots more decisions to make.  Windows, Doors, Colors, Etc.  We would like to thank all of those who had a part in making all this happen and especially thank God for giving us such a good jump start to this major project.

Baby Bean

Hello Readers of the Gardner blog.  Today we are 21 weeks with carrying baby bean.  Some of you may have heard or know about the problems we are having with this child.  Some of you may know nothing about baby bean other - than to know we are expecting a child.  So here are some facts.  Baby Bean has some very serious issues.  They have diagnosed the condition as a very serious complex.  Even though we were tested for downs syndrome and the levels were high - this is not even a concern at this time.  The baby has so many physical issues that can be seen through a regular ultra sounds - which is how they diagnosis this complex.  If you have questions or hear something about the baby - you can ask us.  I know when people are going through a hard time it is hard to know when to speak and know what to say.  We know people are told that there babies will have issues and they come out fine.  We also know what we can see in the Ultra sound is very clear and the problems are real.  We also know that God is in control and anything can happen.  We appreciate your prayers through this time.

Day 2 - New House

Kora and I stopped by the house this morning to take more pictures.  We were very excited to see some men preparing the basement for the foundation of house!  I commented on how they had a great week to work - since the weather is to be so nice this week.  They said "well you must have picked a good week to start"  I said "we didn't pick the week... but we are SOO THANKFUL to have nice weather!"

Kora Lily - ER Visit

Mommy and Daddy decided to leave me for the very first time over night - this past weekend.  I decided it would be fun to stress them out while they were gone.  So I decided to Jump on the bed and fall off and bust my ear open.  I got inspected my Uncle Milan, Aunt Amy & Aunt Dr. Joanna.  After much thought - they decided they better take me to the ER and get some stitches.  I loved all the attention and didn't really cry.  I got fed at the hospital and then they put three stitches in my ear.  My mommy and daddy were very worried but thankful that I was OK!  Now every time I move since my mommy has been home... she gets all stressed out that I will bust it back open again!  It doesn't really bother me and I sleep good with my ear!  I had a great time at the Baltic's house, even though Aunt Amy had to waste a night by waiting in the ER with me all evening.  I am ready for my parents to leave again... I had so much fun getting spoiled by everyone else!!!

Johnson's Woods - Sunday, Oct 23rd

On Sunday - after we went out to Pizza Hut with Willow and Scarlett... we went to Johnson's Woods for a walk.  The kids had a great time climbing on the trees that were down by the path.
