Happy 1st Birthday Green Bean!!!

Where did 1 year go??

Little Green Bean has grown into an interesting little boy over the past year.  It seems like yesterday that we were so thankful for his safe arrival and to think how quick a year has gone.  We had a fire truck theme party for Green Bean and his Cousin.  Here was a little fire truck photo booth that Daddy made for all the guest to pose in.

Green Bean:

Has 8 Teeth, Goes to bed a 7p and wakes up around 7a.  Eats anything you set in front of him.  Really likes mashed potatoes and chocolate chip cookies.  Eats most all fruits and veggie.  Not a fan of so much sweets.(unlike his mother)  Acting like he would like to walk on his own soon... but mommy is glad he is still crawling around.  Loves to talk on the phone and play where ever his sister pink bean is playing.  Cries when his Mommy or Daddy leaves the house and he doesn't get to go.  Loves his Binky and a burp clothe for a snuggles.  Smiles all the time.  Well most all the time.  He has his down days like we all do.  But for the most part - I am just amazed with how happy he can be - even when I am not ready to be awake or smile :o)   His favorite part of the day is when Pink Bean wakes up ~ he gets so excited his hands clench tight fist in the air and he giggles so hard he almost falls over and when daddy comes home from work ~ he can't crawl fast enough to the door to get daddy.  If for some reason daddy has full hands and has to walk past Green Bean.... he is in instant big tears - that his daddy forgot to pick him up.  To say he loves his daddy is an understatement.  Happy Birthday Green Bean!  We love you so much!

Thanksgiving....

Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  My computer has been down and its amazing how different our lives can be.

Walter Lee ...

Baby Walter Lee - came sliding into the world on Oct 31st.  We are thrilled for another Baltic Baby in this world and pray for God to watch over him each day.

Mr Wonderful (Daddy Bean) has been busy on a wonderful project Mommy set out to do... but quickly pushed this project onto Daddy.  I found this at a garage sale and Mr. Bean sanded and refinished this table to match our house.  It turned out perfect and he did a great job.

However - never again - will I get something that takes so much man hours...lol.  I LOVE LOVE how it turned out and I will have lots of memories of all the time it took.  But Sanding and staining takes a lot longer then our other projects that we just painted :o)  Thanks Daddy! 

Green Bean - 10 months

Green Bean - AKA Ham Ball is 10 months.  He amazes us everyday with his cheerful smile at 6:30 am no matter what time we put him to bed.  He is the happiest in the morning when he can claim all the toys as his own - since his sister is still sleeping.  He loves to play with anything that makes noise.  As soon as a door opens he is quickly at your heal.  His favorite thing to do is to chase his sister around the house now that he can catch up to her with crawling - rather then the famous army crawl he has been doing for the past two months.  He loves climbing and standing.  He drinks whole milk and loves eating any kind of food - especially ice-cream, cookies and cool whip from his daddy!

Hay Ride

The neighborhood that I grew up in has a hay ride for the kids every year.  This year all the cousins dressed up as Ace Hardware Employees.  For once the weather was amazing and the kids didn't have to wear 20 layers to stay warm :o)

Shining your light....

We are not much for the Halloween season here at our house.   However - we love pumpkins and all the amazing fall colors, trees, weather & flowers that come along with it.  We carved pumpkins in the past with Pink Bean and it's always a fun night together.

Cowboys & Indians - Fall Harvest Party

It was that time of year again for our Annual Fall harvest party.  This year we decided to make a theme that everyone had to dress up to instead of letting the couples pick.  We picked a Cowboy and Indian theme and had a cookout in Gpa's Woods.  JP fried Chicken and  French Fries which turned out AWESOME!  We had Apples & Caramel Dip and Carrots & Dip for a side.  We later fried FRESH apple fritters that Laura made - which were AMAZING and we made Dough Boys over the fire... which turned out like a big cream puff!  We had a couples Scavenger hunt - where they had to stay linked with each other the whole time, Apple Bobbing on a string as couples and Couples Questions which got the whole group involved and talking.  I really enjoyed this get together this year.  It was so relaxing, easy and FUN.  I didn't get everyone's couples pictures this year... but here are a few of the cowboys and Indians that showed up.
