This pregnancy.....

This pregnancy has been a lot more challenging when it comes to eating food. I have always had a touchy stomach...... but ever since this pregnancy it has not been pleasant!.... So with much thought and dedication I have decided to give up some of my favorite food for a couple of days..... and I have successfully given up the following for 5 DAYS!!!........

Ice - Cream

I know what you are thinking...

"that is not a hard one... it has only been 5 days"

and you are right... that was not to hard....

French fries and greasy food

again... most people could go 5 days without this!!!

Pizza....

ok for me......

it is getting a little bit harder.

I love my PIZZA!!!

Mt. Dew and all POP

OK... now some of you may not see this as a difficult thing....

how ever for me... this was a HUGE struggle...

In the afternoon when Kora goes down for her nap....

I fill a large glass with ICE and POP! YUM!

This week I had a large glass of ICE with JUICE!! YAH!

I thought I was going to allow myself to drink Coffee...

but after first day ... I gave that up as well....

(For financial reasons... lol)

But this is something I crave day to day.

So it has been FIVE DAYS. I feel a TON better.....

I have eaten more Fruits and Veggies.......

I have not had as many stomach issues....

and I feel like my body has been somewhat healthy for FIVE DAYS!!!

So tonight for dinner I though I would celebrate by...

Ordering a LARGE CHEESE PIZZA...

and drinking LARGE ICED GLASS OF MT. DEW!!!

Sad... Sad Day.....

Something that has worked

through the thick and the thin....

Something that has dealt

with all of our messes...

Something that took care of

Spiders, flyies, bugs with no hassle...

Something that has seen all

the Gardner's dirt....

and sadly.... seen a colored pencil

way to close... and decided to call it quites...

YUP our Sweeper....

It could not take it any more..... It's motor got burned up and ended up at the end of our driveway with the trash can! So the 1 st Sweeper down.... how many more will we go through in our life????

Such a Sad ... Sad... Day!!!!

Fair Week....

Last week we enjoyed the week at the Wayne County Fair. We got to watch the Baltic kids at the sheep show and checked out all the Art Work from all the kids in the School building.

For being the first year.... the kids did great! Kora Lily loved the fair on Tuesday when no one was at the fair grounds and she could run wild all over the place. It was nice on mommy to!!!

On Thursday Wayne County got hit with a Tornado on the South side of Wooster. Daddy and Kora Lily were out running some errands and got stuck in the car because all the crazy rain. Praise the Lord that everyone in the Tornado area was safe.

Little Big Girl....

Kora Lily was very sick one day while daddy was in Mexico. She wanted held all day long. So we spent the whole day on the couch... singing songs and just holding Baby Kora Lily. Her fever lifted in the evening and I was working on the computer. When I heard her singing... I turned around and she was sitting on the couch holding her baby... singing her baby songs. It melted my heart. I was kinda frustrated ... feeling like I had accomplished nothing that day... but I learned that I accomplished more then I could have ever wanted to in one day :o)

I got Kora Lily some Crocs when we were in Florida.

They were a little big... but she loved them and would not take them off.

She even fell asleep with them on.

We really missed Daddy when he was in Mexico......

and it always seemed like when I tried to get something done...

Kora Lily wanted all of my attention.

One day I decided to get a box of play clothes and high heals down.

Since she loved shoes so much... I thought she would carry the heals around.

Well Kora Lily loved them and wore the high heals everywhere...

The next day she even decides that she needed to

put on the princess outfits.

She thought she was one styling chic... lol. But I got done everything I need to do thanks to the new box of high heals and dress up clothes :o)

Sam in Mexico

Sam was in Mexico for 2 1/2 weeks for work, home for 2 weeks and then back to Mexico for 2 weeks. He got to tour Mexico 2 days while he was down there. He is now HOME for good .... we hope. We really missed daddy!!!!!!

Kora Lily - 18 months

I finally got Kora Lily's 18 months pictures taken. I really enjoy taking pictures... it just seems like the time always flies by. Kora Lily loves to eat and play with her baby. She loves to wear shoes and HIGH HEALS! She enjoys playing with daddy on the floor and thinks she should be held all day long. She loves to climb up the computer desk and watch what we do. Unlike her mother... SHE LOVES ANIMALS. She loves whoa whoa's and kitties and will take anyone up on a offer to go "outside". Her new words are C ya and I C U.

Last minute trip to Akron Zoo....

Annika and I were at a purse party and decided to go the Zoo the next day. The weather was to be nice and we wanted to take our girls again. Cooper and Eli came to... I love the Akron Zoo!!!

We bribed the kids all day if they were good we would ride this at the end...

so here we are on a Merry-go-round ride. Kora Lily loved it and screamed her head off when I took her off... I guess next time I have to say that they have to be good after the ride as well.

We spent the morning at the Zoo and the kids slept the whole way home...

July n August.....

Wow... where did the summer go.... ???

I can't believe it is already SEPTEMBER! Here are the fun things that kept us busy this Summer.

Ali n Kora Lily at Nana Gardner's Garage sale. We went thru all of Sam's fathers items and saved what he wanted and sold the a Garage Sale.

We went to Indiana for Kim's wedding and stayed with a wonderful family there.
Chloe the lil' girl holding Kora's hand loved playing with Kora. We had a wonderful time getting to know this family.

Then we helped out with our Church Conference. It was a very busy week and we served lots of people food all week long. This was a tea party that they had for the wives while the husbands were in meetings.

We were also happy to Welcome back Brenna and her family to the US. They just returned home from Germany. She had a great birthday party and looked so pretty in her dress with her face painted.

Those were some of the highlights of our summer!!!
