Did I cross the line?

We had a relaxing weekend going to the Baden-Baden Mall on Saturday and church on Sunday. Which must have been why I had so much energy on MONDAY. I woke up and was so bored that I wanted to weed! (HA HA) I know (like my husband has been saying) "I am never dieing to weed at home... why am I wanting to weed someone's yard? I guess I was thinking two things: 1. This over grown garden is driving me crazy (my view everyday) 2.) What FUN to actually weed something... that really needs weeded. Sam and I are really the only ones with access to this garden/view. I have wanted to do this since we got here... but my husband felt like it would be offensive to the yard keeper of this place. So I let it go... Until yesterday. The good news - I didn't really weed... I just cut back all the over grown ivy. This way... I didn't pull some very important flower ...that I thought was a weed. I played it safe! The only problem... I didn't know where to hide all the evidence of my work that I had done. Of course I took some before and after pictures of our (Kora Lily and I) work.

This was the reason for me to start my work on Monday morning. I was just going to trim the ivy back from around the doors around our patio.

But somehow ended up also doing this area.
Kora loved laying outside and watching mommy work.

So did I cross the line... I probably did! But it looks great... I had a great work out... and my husband even thought it was ok... when he got home :o) So hopefully the garden/yard man will not be offended.
