Road Trip...

We were thrilled to get an invite by the Schleman's in Wolcott.  We have not traveled at all since we have been back in the states (like 3 years ago...lol)  So a road trip to Indian was a perfect little weekend away.  Kora loved that Ryan taught her how to have a real pillow fight.  The kids did pretty in the car - if you consider Cray crying for 2 hours straight as good - which we did - cause he could have been crying the whole time!

Thanks Ryan & Kim - we had a great weekend!
Bats, Coyote and all!

Rolling Ridge Ranch from this Mommy's eyes!

Here is to one adventure I will never forget!!!

We enter through the gate and was welcome by huge sweaty,
heavy breathing elks who were STARVING!!!!
I would be standing up trying to help Kora feed these massive animals and all of a sudden I would feel someone breathing on me!  It was just not someone - but something large that was drooling all over my arm - No it was not my little son that I was carrying in the baby carrier.

IT WAS AN ELK - in my personal bubble!
BEGGING for FOOD!
(this picture was not zoomed in any manor)
Once I learned NOT to sit on the side - I quickly found a new home in the center part of the wagon - out of the reach of animals... so I thought!  When all of a sudden a warm wet feeling brushed across my feet.  At first I thought wow just like a foot message until I snapped into reality to realize I was NO WHERE NEAR a SPA!  WHAT WAS THAT feeling across my feet...
a deer... Licking the feed off the floor of the wagon and my FEET!  Again these animals were starving and begging for more food!
Anne was smart and knew how to keep these large creatures off of her feet!  She just poured it into their mouths like a never ending vending machine.
This time I screamed "REALLY???  YEAKK - WHAT WAS THAT?"
Oh - now the cow wants to take a turn at my feet!
That's nice! As I hear giggling from the adorable girls sitting beside me!?>?>
Oh no it finally clicked - you guessed it - those beautiful little girls were getting a kick out of pouring the feed on the floor and watching the animals come and eat it - no really even better yet - the crazy lady (me) that would jump about 10 miles high every time I got licked.
and again!!!!
I was so thrilled when we got to feed an animal that was not licking my toes until I realized this guys rack was to big for him to fit his head under the wagon bench.  Needless to say - I WAS NOT SAD!
Then we ran out of feed - Each paid person gets one bucket of feed for free - after that is was $2.00 for one bucket of feed.  Poor Kora kept bagging for more feed (as you can read from her story below) - But happy mommy was not even a little bite tempted to buy her more (especially since I left my money in the van).  I had enough foot tongue messages for A LIFE TIME!
Even though I was very overwhelmed with the amount of animals licking my feet - Kora had a BLAST and I would take her and Cray back in a HEART BEAT! or anyone else that would like a true adventure not only at Rolling Ridge Ranch - but with this crazy momma - who does not like animals in any form :o)

Rolling Ridge Ranch - Day of fun!

Wow - I think this is one of my best post yet.  Have you ever heard of Rolling Ridge Ranch?  It is better than any ZOO!  You get on a wagon with ONE bucket of feed and watch as the animals come racing towards the wagon.  I am going to do 2 post on this wonderful adventure.  1 post - from Kora's eyes and 1 very detailed post from my eyes.  lol  Hope you enjoy!

Kids view on Rolling Ridge Ranch.
Here is our brave crew before we boarded the wagon
Aliya, Annie, Simon, Lilly, Jude, Me & Aysha
(Cray & Gracie not pictured)
Some of us were very excited and some had tears watching the other wagons go ahead of us and see all the animals attacking the wagon for food!  We didn't know what our mommy's were putting us up to.
Aysha is thrilled to start the voyage through the trail.
Lilly, Annie & Gracie were holding buckets of feed
not so sure what was going to take place.
Jude and Simon ran out of feed so the really cool Zebra's
passed us right by and headed to the back of the wagon
where people had feed.
Aliya was so cute and she loved the animals.
I loved the animals and wish my mommy would have
brought more money so that I could fed ALL the animals.
Jude got to drive the horses that were pulling our wagon
Simon helped Jude drive the horses to.
It was so funny...
...then Aysha and I had to give it a try.
I really liked this part... those horses were so funny!
But then came along this really big cow - with HUGE horns.
Poor cow could hardly hold his head up.  We all got to touch his horns.
But the cow was very sad we didn't have any more food left.
This poor cow let all us pet him...
I think he thought we were going to feed him...
but my mommy forgot her money so we couldn't buy more feed!
Mommy let little Cray out of his carrier at the very end.
We thought he was excited just to out of his carrier.....
but he really seemed to like the animals more then me.
Lilly, Simon & Jude petting a Buffalo.
I thought the Llama's and Alpacas were so cute
They let us pet them too.  They kept thinking we were going to
feed them - but my mommy forgot her money!
My mommy put her camera in the van after lunch.  I was sooo excited to hold a chick, a bunny (even though it pooped on me) and some baby goats.  I cried when my mommy made me leave the goat pin.  They were soooo cute!!!!!  I wanted to stay there forever and hold them!

We then went to a cheese house and we got to poke each other with toothpicks while our mommy's inhaled cheese.  They even shared some cheese samples with us.
My brother was getting fussy on the way home.  So my mommy decided it was a perfect time for everyone to get frosty and let cray drink his bottle.
I had such a great time with my friends - I can't wait to go back again next year!!!
Love Kora Lily
PS - My mommy can't wait to give you her side of the story!

Pa - Pa & Cray

Pa - Pa                  Cray

Mom found this picture of Pa-Pa.  It reminded us a lot of little Cray.  I would have loved to of asked Grandma Ingold if Pa-pa was rolling off the table like Cray was when I was trying to take this pictures.  Every time I would move Cray's hands to lay like pa-pa he would giggle and then try to roll over.  I am sure Grandma Ingold had her hands full as well!  (Miss you Grandma)

Sleep....

How do most evening work at your house?
Do your kids go to bed perfectly every night?
Bedtime has always been a challenge for us with Kora Lily.
Cray on the other hand LOVES his bed.
Here's the kids giggling like crazy right before bed...
so I let kora climb into Cray's crib for more giggles and smiles!!!

Willow's Birthday Party - 8.4.12

We were thrilled to go down to Cincinnati for Willow's 3rd Birthday!
Aunt Jill made beautiful butterfly cupcakes.

All the little kids got to sit at the fun little table.  Grady was so excited he was included he sat at the table for like an hour before the party.
 Adorable Decorations Everywhere...
 Scarlett, Willow, Kora & Ryder
at the party table.
 Big kid table
Megan, Tori, Molly & Maddie
Pa-pa and Uncle Milan even joined in on the fun.
Cray on the other hand finally crashed after thinking he didn't need to nap all day!
We all had a great time at Willow's Birthday Party!

Best Times...

After Cray's naps Kora Lily loves to crawl into his crib and play.  She brings him all kinds of toys, tells him stories and talks NON-stop to him.
This is by far the best time for Mommy!  Both kids are in a safe place - playing and having fun.
.... and Mr. Cray LOVES it!!!
(*His crib is empty when he is sleeping!)

Where is Cray...

I have a feeling - I will have a lot of "where is Cray?" blog post coming your way!  He is on the go and loves playing with everything BUT toys.  A blanket full of toys... and where is Cray?
He is trying to get the label off the bottom of his rocker chair.
"I'm just fine" says Mr. Cray!

Cray River - 7 months

Where has time gone with our little Cray.  We love watching him grow and his little personality he adds to our family.  He loves to eat, watch his sister run around, giggle and roll all over the place.  His smile melts our hearts!  He weighed 18lbs at his 6mon apt.

Another - what is wrong with this picture...lol

The past post and the next couple of post will show you how exciting our days usually are on a day to day base (well so we think).  Mr. Cray (aka cray-zers) is know to throw up on a hourly basis... sometimes even by the minute.  We have taken extreme measures.  Poor Mr. Cray has been stuck on a blanket with lots of toys.  However on this day... I turned around to find this.... Can you see him?
Lets zoom out and try this pictures again....
Not only has he escaped from his blanket... he is making a fast break for Kora's doll house with millions of little non-edible parts.
Kora was not to happy and tried to explain to Mr. Cray in a very nice way that he was not allowed off his blanket or by her doll house and this was his response.  5 seconds later he was back for more....
then he headed the other directions towards a more kid friendly toy... well at least I thought it was...
Until I realized he had a handful of Kora's little flowers that she puts on this red firetruck.  Sorry no pictures... thought grabbing small flower from my son was more important then a picture.
We got to spend the rest of the day - trying to figure out how we were going "start" baby proofing our new home from Mr. Cray.
