Happenings in February...

Sadly the months are slipping away fast here at our house.  Thank you to all who still follow along our blog.  I know are our updates have been few and far between. So we will try to catch things up here over the next couple of days.  

We were so excited to surprise Grandma H. for her 80th birthday for a dinner.  Molly, Emily & Tori were our servers.

 We also had Pink Bean's birthday party along with 2 other of her cousins in February. 

 Since Pink Bean is not a fan of cake on her actual birthday we put candles in her favorite kind of cookie.  It's hard to believe our little girl is already 4 years old. 

 We had a girls sleep over night & (Green Bean)... sometime in February.  We always enjoy a house full of kids

Pink Bean is in love with animals.  For her birthday we gave her a horse and it was priceless to watch how excited she was.

Computer & Birthday Girl..

My computer is officially broken for good!!!!  Sadly not sure when we will ever be getting a new one... so I am going to have to work harder at getting on Daddy's computer to keep the blog updated...

But that is why we have been down again!!!

Today is Pink Bean's 4th Birthday!  It is amazing how fast time has gone and to think that our little girl is 4 - just blows my mind.  I just want to keep her little forever!!!

 I loved her face in these pictures - she has been bagging for a big horse - so I am not sure why she was SOOO surprised to get one... but she just couldn't shut her mouth... she was in shock!!!



Pink Bean & Her Puppy....

We took Nana to Amish County for a little one night vacation away from home.  We eat out, spent the night in a little cottage and spent the next day taste testing cheese, chocolate & shopping around.  .... oh and I forgot the most important - Pink Bean & A Puppy!

Now for most of you that really know me... I am NOT a dog fan - IN any way shape or form!  My lovely Pink Bean is in LOVE with dogs and begs for one every day.  We told her that when we went on vacation we would go to a puppy farm and she could hold a puppy.  We did inform her that we were NOT going to buy one - we were just going to hold them.  She was THRILLED to say the least and could have spent all week here!

The little "Girl" puppy wouldn't stop licking Pink Beans face... and even though I was ready to throw up... she was LOVING every second of it and couldn't stop giggling!!!

We left with only a few tears... but she did pretty good and really enjoyed her time with the puppy..

We finished up the afternoon with eating at another Amish Restaurant and then made our way home. 

January Birthday Party....

We love Birthday Parties in our family...  each month we enjoy watching the kids grow and celebrating each ones birthdays.  This January theme was a circus theme.  We had loaded Hot-Dogs, Uncle Dales Fresh French Fries, Chips and Cheese Yummy Cheese Dip...

 We met under the circus tent....

 and Sang happy birthday to Ryder, Harper & Cooper...

 ... a couple clowns showed up....

 well maybe lots of clowns were there...

we just didn't have costumes on... :o) 

 the Butler Girls... even got to stick around and enjoy

It was a very creative and fun idea for a birthday 

party...  we all enjoyed the food and evening together.

........ BOY.......

 We will be having a baby boy in June 

and we decided to tell thru some

cupcakes filled with blue frosting.

 Pink Bean was a little sad that it wasn't filled with PINK

But she is still excited to get a new baby in the house...

The Ingolds put there guess on a paper and then they had to wait until

daddy came home from work to cut into the cupcake... 

such a great idea!!!!

We are very excited that everything is going ok with this baby that will be here in June.  It always makes our hearts skip a beat when we go to our appointment - But we are beyond thankful that everything is going well and there are no problems with the baby or pregnancy.

Happy 2nd Birthday. 

The Big 40!

Yes - Because of someones BIG 40 - I got to enjoy one of the best steaks I have ever eaten in my entire life!  

 .... and Amy tried Lobster for the first time....

 all because the best parents in the WORLD - 

have been married for 40 YEARS!  

 We enjoyed a relaxing evening at Don's Pomeroy for dinner and time together.  We are thankful for the great influence our  parents have been to us over the years and how they have raised us.

Almost done with Cell Phone Picture updates...  sometimes I am just to lazy to go and find the camera... so we take a lot of pictures with the camera on the phone.  

Pink Bean loves to help mommy work around the house.  Not sure how long this will last... but for now I enjoy the company as I clean.

 For Christmas I got a new shelf from Ikea and Daddy put it all together for me... piece by piece... but I LOVE how it came out - it was a wonderful gift...

 Last minute summer fire while Daddy was in Mexico.

 Pink Bean & Green Bean enjoying some of the last nice weather this fall.  They loved to sit outside the laundry room and enjoy snacks... while mommy did some laundry. 

 I sometimes feel like they are just the best of friends...

Pink Bean really enjoys having a friend... and Green Bean sure likes making her squeal when he touches her stuff... it's a love/hate relationship.  The play together, eat together... oh and yes... 

.... They Cry together.

she didn't last long at all... but she was thrilled to go out for the adventure.
