Card Club, Scissors & Potato Chips, Dog Pooh

Card Club! Yes yesterday I went to a card club. By the end of the club (which it sounds like 4 Wednesday) I will have 130 cards to send to people. My sister was organizing it and was either A.) looking for more people (which was what she told me) or B.) trying to get me involved with other people. Either way I actually had a WONDERFUL time. Minus the fact that there was literally 17 kids under the age of 10 at one point in the day!! Which could be it’s own story! But back to the cards! The best part about the whole day was for once not the FOOD! But the simple fact! I made 40 cards and actually got to socialize at the same time. Normally when you get together with your friends you just talk and don’t really get anything accomplished! Well the great thing about this Card Club is that I got my SOCIALIZING in but I didn’t feel like it was a waste of my day or that I didn’t get anything else accomplished! This was my first real card making session and it was intense. But I didn’t mind being the under dog! I learned tons of tricks with making cards and how they make the card look so HARD and really it is SOOO simple! Even though I am not a so called “stamper” I felt like it was very easy to do. Minus the fact the there was literally 17 kids under the age of 10. Did I mention that yet! So what I am saying is that it doesn’t matter how many kids are there I still made 40 cards and I was the UNDERDOG! The kids had a great time and so did the mom’s. BUT I will say one thing! It did get interesting with 17 kids! We were making our cards when Andrea recognized her daughters “I’m doing something I shouldn’t be doing laugh”. Eli and Sadie were hiding behind the food bar CUTTING potato chips with a SCISSORS! *Even though you are not supposed to laugh when thing like this happen.. it was Hilarious! I mean who would have ever though to CUT potato chips with a SCISSORS! But sadly with every funny story comes a bad story! Bound to happen with 17 kids! (*Did I mention the 17 kids part yet) The boys (*Adam and 3 boys that get off the school bus that Amy baby sits) were out playing outside when one of the boys was accidentally pushed into DOG POOH! That is right! The boy was PUSHED... accidentally in DOG POOH and it was ALL over his clothes! This is when I started throwing UP! Well not literally but it was very disgusting! Needless to say NO one got hurt and we all left with a pile of cards! At the club I was telling the ladies that I couldn’t wait to show Sam what I had accomplished that day. They all laughed at me and said “Do you really think he is going to care about your cards” of course I knew he would care! So when he came home from work and college I showed him my cards I made. He really was listening to me and thought that they looked great. What I didn’t tell the ladies is that then I had to act just as excited as he explained his homework to me and all the little details about his college classes! So I guess we were even!
