Our LAST big trip....

On Thursday morning Kora Lily and I went to the airport to pick up our last special visitors. We decided on the way home to turn an 1hr 45 min. drive into 4 1/2 hours by sitting in a WONDERFUL German traffic jam. We thought it was such a warm WELCOME for our visitors! Once Sam got off work we packed up and headed out for a 4 1/2 day trip in Germany, Austria and then to Venice, Italy. Our first stop was Munich, Germany. We arrived Thursday evening and stopped by downtown Munich to see the old town at night and to eat at the Hofbrauhaus.

We had a great first day ... even though we spent most of the day in the car. We were happy to get caught up on all the news from back home.

*** Side note... we are waiting on NEWS from my sister Jill... she is due with her second child any day... and we are patiently waiting for this baby Butler to arrive.
